MEET LA MUZA: Gabriela
On a trip to Mexico, Polet came to visit her friend Suzanne, and soon came to meet her roommate Gabriela. There, she was invited to participate in a trunk show at Suzanne's store Tuza in Mexico City. Polet was fascinated with the architecture and interior design of the apartment. Likewise, Polet was impressed with Gabriela and Suzzan as business women who are passionate about creating their own destiny and doing what they love. Gabriela’s charm, abundant plants, and not to mention her four gorgeous cats, were what gave off such a beautiful energy from her. Stepping inside her house and talking with such an inspiring woman, made Polet excited to share Gabriela's story as a portrait to motivate others!

What has been most inspiring for you about Muza?
The transparency and delicacy of her pieces and designs combined with her ability to make women’s bodies both feminine and strong.

Black underwear is my favorite, or comfortable, sporty and/or lace in tops/bras.
What do you wear in bed?
It depends on the weather of course on Hot days: black nightgown (Vestido Corto Negro - ropa interior) or on Cold days: complete pjs, cotton and a sweatshirt.
Who is your style icon?
I don’t have one icon per say, I admire authentic people, with their own voice, people that are vulnerable and strong at the same time. For example, women & men : Hedi Slimane, Vincent Gallo, Gabrielle Chanel and Angela Davis all have such strong souls which I love but there is a delicate beauty about them all.
What is your life motto or favorite quotes?
I can’t say that I have one favorite as it’s always changing with me, or rather, growing but if I had to pick a life motto it would be: "LOVE HARD - WORK HARD" **Wabi Sabi Philosophy ♡
If you could choose a song to describe your life, which would it be and why?
BADBADNOTGOOD - The IV Recording Sessions
As a creative, where do you find inspiration?
In everything that surrounds me; food, street, people, art, animals, plants, movies, music, everything! It all depends on the mood I’m in. Changing moods and emotions causes a variety of actions and thus reactions, in looking and moving around, connecting uniquely each day with my surroundings.
